The luxury apartment complex, formerly known as San Raffles and now rebranded as The Grand Hanoi, was owned by Tân Hoàng Minh Group. Originally approved as a mixed-use development consisting of high-end commercial centers, office spaces, and luxury apartments with 5 underground floors and 9 above-ground floors.
In 2018, Tân Hoàng Minh Group transferred their shares to a related entity of Masterise Group.
Under the new ownership, the project commenced in February 2021, led by Masterise Homes, a subsidiary of Masterise Group, a renowned real estate developer.
The Grand Hanoi is planned to have a height of 27.8 meters with 8 above-ground floors and 6 underground floors, offering 104 ultra-luxurious apartments ranging from approximately 100 sqm to over 200 sqm. The six underground floors include 4 parking levels for residents, a technical floor, and a commercial center.
The project is developed through a strategic long-term partnership between Masterise Homes and Marriott International, the owner of the legendary Ritz-Carlton brand.
Upon completion, it will be Vietnam's first luxury real estate project bearing the Ritz-Carlton brand and the brand's fifth luxury real estate product in the Asia-Pacific region (following Singapore, Bangkok - Thailand's capital, Colombo - Sri Lanka's capital, and Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia).
The project is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2023.
With over 100 years of history, Ritz-Carlton is an internationally renowned brand. According to the Ritz-Carlton brand representative, they have been involved with Masterise Homes throughout the project's design and construction phases to ensure that the development meets Ritz-Carlton's global standards. Additionally, the project will provide comprehensive apartment management services in line with Ritz-Carlton's global standards.
The Grand Hanoi is also Masterise Homes' first luxury real estate project in the Hanoi market.
